ALL MOTION FILM ART DIRECTION By following the daily routine and portraying the Olympic trajectory of a taekwondo fighter, the documentary "A luta de um homem só" gives a picture of the delicate situation faced by many Brazilian athletes. Diogo Silva, with his strong and contentious personality, shows that in the face of the lack of financial incentives and support for the amateur sport in the country, the struggle to reach the long-awaited Olympic medal is not limited to mats. The documentary will touch on some of the highlights of the life of Diogo, a great Brazilian taekwondo fighter, who stands out as one of the first names in the country to be recognized worldwide in the sport he practices and also by active voice in the struggle for rights and recognition of Brazilian athletes. Among his main guidelines, Diogo questions the precarious conditions that many athletes are led to accept to continue in the ring for their careers. Diogo puts the battle for his rights to the side and, sometimes, above his own recognition in the sport. As another example of this, gold winner in the 2007 Pan, Diogo gives up participating in the Olympics in 2008 by demanding from the Brazilian Confederation of Taekwondo recognition and greater remuneration to the athletes. Thus, the dream of the medal in the Olympics was postponed to 2012, in which a controversial draw, declassified the athlete. Now Diogo is preparing to play his last chance at the Olympics, this time in his home country in 2016. The starting point of the film is when Diogo will receive the news whether or not he has gone to the Olympics. In a furor of emotions of the athlete with the gift that decides his future next to the trump card of memories that carries of his victorious past. .EDIT//Documentary A LUTA DE UM HOMEM SÓ directed by JohnJohn Valle
